Well folks this week was uneventful for the baby plowing out into the world - As of this past Tuesday, I am still at 1 cm. On Monday, I started working from home which was an adjustment. I decided I had to work in the morning and play in the afternoon or this would not work out too well. :) On Wednesday morning I started to feel under the weather. I have a cold which normally is annoying, but when pregnant it is even more annoying. I usually knock myself out with Ny-Quil, but no such luxury for me this time around. I finished doing all the baby laundry and put everything away Friday. So now we wait . . . will she come early, on time or late?? I don't know, but as each day goes by I am getting more used to the fact that I will be a mom soon. Still a scary concept, but I am looking forward to holding our baby girl in my arms. She is just going to be darling and melt my heart. I mean for all you pet owners, my little boy Max melts my heart so easily. I just can't imagine what a little Jeremy/Marianne will do to me. I am putting in some pics of the nursery. I decided I am not buying a shred more until after this baby arrives! Gotta be strong and resist the temptation!

ReplyDeleteIt is probably wise not to buy too many things right before. There will always be things after Jasmine comes that you will be running to Target for. There is no such thing as being completely prepared. You will always feel (even years down the road) that there's something else you need.
Just enjoy what sleep you can get and savor being pregnant. This is precious time for you and your daughter to be one. :)
