Next task--breaking Jasmine of always needing to be in my arms . . . yes, being in the same room doesn't cut it. Me being right next to her is not what she wants. She wants to be IN my arms ALL the time. Now in some ways I think this is really sweet that she thinks her mommy is the best person in the whole wide world, but other people are good (notice I did not put great) too like daddy, amachi, grandma, friends, nursery volunteers at church. :) So tomorrow I will start the process of not having her always in my arms. I fear there will be a lot of crying around here, so say a prayer of patience and strength for me as well as compliance for her.
SERIOUSLY ADORABLE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!! Breaking Jasmine of her clingyness (sp?) will be a good thing, trust me. I know that it's not an easy thing, and yes, there will be days of crying and fussing. If it makes you feel better, we are facing a similar issue with Logan and I have been avoiding dealing with it.
ReplyDeleteI'll commit to working on getting him to go up and down the stairs on his own. We can commiserate in a short season of "weeping and gnashing of teeth".
