Our power was restored this evening. We lost it around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, so we were more than delighted to get it back tonight (Sunday). Our house suffered no damage and we all did well during the howling of the storm. Jasmine took Ike and lack of A/C like a champ. We also got to visit with neighbors and watch kiddos have so much fun in the rain water. This morning we were treated to a yummy Belgian waffle breakfast from our dear friends Anne and Sam that had power. We are so thankful to God that we were protected during this horrible hurricane. Please continue to pray for all those that have had devastating losses and who continue to be without power and water.
