New Developments & What Not

Two Saturday's ago we went over to Shane and Sarah's home for games and yummy homemade pizza. It was so much fun. Sarah asked if we would like to see Micah's bouncer and I said sure . . . I mean I figured if you have seen one bouncer (I was thinking a baby bouncer) you have seen them all . . . boy was I wrong! This mini moonwalk could fit two adults comfortably. Let us just say that everyone took their turn in the bouncer including Amachi. :)

Here is a picture of Abigail (very happy) and Jasmine (very distraught). Adam, Amanda and Abigail plus Drew came over for a sleepover. We loved it!
Grandma and Jasmine with daddy's hat
Jasmine with her new stacking toy (I picked it up from the Once Upon A Child resale store). She loves this thing. They are the perfect size for her hands and she likes to clobber them when her daddy builds his tower of blocks.
So this one of the new developments . . . after I posted the video of Jasmine falling forward, she never really attempted to crawl again. This week she has been rolling onto her frontside and lifting her body up. Typically she HATES this position, but for some reason she likes it now. Maybe this means she will crawl soon or maybe this means nothing at all.
Jasmine playing with mommy's watch
Jasmine looking cute in a laundry basket. She went for a ride and it was fun!
I had to include this one. Can you see the bed head in the back? This was in the afternoon today. I love it!
Jasmine has been babbling so much more and loves to stand while holding on to something. She started to wave goodbye and began trying out stage 3 (chunkier) baby food. Last night she woke up at around 10 p.m. screaming her eyes out. I think she ate too much of the new food and made a poopy diaper to boot. Fortunately she fell back to sleep after the diaper change and rocking with mommy. This is the first time she has woken up in the night since she started sleeping through the night. We are so lucky!
I am falling more and more in love with Jasmine. She melts my heart daily.

  1. It was always such a shock to my system when Caroline would wake up in the middle of the night after I was used to her sleeping all the way through. Not that 10 pm is the middle of the night.

  2. Hey! We've gotten to enjoy Micah's bouncy house, too! Fun, huh? And, maybe Jasmine will be one of those babies who never crawls and goes straight to walking! Consider yourself lucky you don't have to chase her around :) I am so jealous. Jack still wakes up once a night to eat. I guess that's what huge babies do!
