Jasmine and her Gee Gaw
Me, Jasmine and Jasmine's great great great aunt Edith!
Amachi, Jeremy, Jasmine and Gee Gaw at the Opryland hotel in Nashville Beautiful fountain shot
Me and my sweetie on my 30th birthday!
The entire hotel was decorated with Christmas lights. It was spectacular. Jasmine giggled and was excited about the sights and sounds of this place. This is the only place where I would spend $18 to park (but is free to go in and see).
The nativity scene outside. Do you see how many lights are strung on those trees???
Jasmine in a little blue rocking chair at Gee Gaw's house. Jasmine pulled up and cruised along furniture for the first time this past week. Do you see how she is itching to get out of the rocking chair??? Jasmine is more interested in us walking her around the house fifty thousand times than crawling. Every day her balance and reliance on holding on to us is getting to be less and less. I think walking will come very soon.
Amachi and Little Missy!Jeremy and his turkey
Two turkeys???
Look at that fine bird that Jeremy and Gee Gaw baked. Here Grandpa is making giblet gravy!
The night before we left, I realized that we didn't have a picture of all of us. My mom was in bed, so we took this shot to capture the moment. We had such a wonderful time with Grandpa. We ate way too much and laughed a lot. We already miss him!
I am glad you got to spend the day with your family on your birthday! Jazzy looked like she had tons of fun on her big trip!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great memory making trip. I'm so glad ya'll got to go. Jasmine is so cute. I can't even imagine what the lights looked like in person. Wow.
