Transitioning to summer . . .

Okay maybe it is not officially summer yet, but Jeremy's summer school session is in full swing. Jazzy has also been enjoying the warmer weather . . . so far she has been in a large pool three times and her kiddie pool twice . . . she is going to be so tanned . . . maybe as dark as her momma! :P Last Friday she busted her lip for the first time after bumping her chin on the edge of our bathtub. This past Saturday she tripped over her feet and fell onto her face at our mini splash pad next to the community pool. Oh and yes she got a small bump on her forehead.

The latest on Jasmine -- when we pray before our meal she likes to say "hand hand" which means someone needs to hold both her hands. She also likes to yell "AMEN" at the end of each prayer . . . sometimes she gets too excited and says it early. Jazzy enjoys dancing these days. It is so cute to watch. She likes songs like Old McDonald Farm (she says the E-I-E-O part), If you are happy and you know it (she yells amen, stomps her feet and claps her hands), Its raining its pouring (she says morning at the end of the song). Her answer to most questions is "no" even though she may mean and can say "yes". She sometimes likes to eat scrambled eggs or cream of wheat for breakfast and other times she doesn't. She loves avocado. Her hair is getting long, but her daddy won't let me cut it. She looks at our ultrasound picture and tells us that it is a baby. She has finally learned to say Aunt Jenny, but it sounds more like nenna or nenny. Oh and she is doing really well with simple chunky puzzles. She is growing up so fast!

Cookie update -- Well I am not vomiting every day anymore. Praise the Lord! I am 14 1/2 weeks along and I am in the awkward phase where regular clothes don't fit comfortably and maternity clothes are like sacks. I am waiting on pins and needles to find out if cookie is a girl or boy. We have some names picked out, but nothing has been finalized yet. Maybe we will have something figured out by the time we find out.
