Well we have been busy.
Here is the rundown . . .
November 17th - Seth born
November 24th - My birthday
November 26th - Thanksgiving
December 14th - Our anniversary
December 18th - Jazzy's birthday
December 25th - Christmas
How am I supposed to keep up with all this? It is too much in too short of a time period. I am not sure how we are going to keep all the special days special when they all seem to run into each other. Any ideas or suggestions?
After Jasmine's birthday party on Saturday, I realized I had a huge headache and then realized I forgot to eat breakfast and barely had lunch. I was out of commission for two days. I thought I was on the verge of having mastitis, food poisoning and whatever other ailment I could think of. In the end, I think it was just the lack of food and probably a bit of dehydration. I guess I got to take it easy . . . thankfully my sweet hubby takes good care of me.
So it is the Wednesday before Christmas and I still need to go shopping for gifts. We got Jazzy covered, but I gotta figure out things for everyone else. I am sure it will be fun to shop today. Oh and I continue to struggle to come up with a Christmas list (bad news for hubby). I mean I really don't want anything other than maybe a minivan (I don't think Santa will be bringing that this year, but maybe next). Does anyone else have this problem of not really wanting anything?
Yesterday and today we have been watching footage of Jazzy when she was a little baby. It reminds me of how special all those little milestones are like the first smiles . . . her smile lights up her face and subsequently everyone elses. She is so beautiful!
Seth boy has been busy eating, sleeping, pooping and peeing. Yesterday he had three outfit changes and I had one . . . oh the laundry! He is such a good baby except when something is bothering his little tummy and then he is fussy fussy. Jeremy has come up with a way to help with the fussy fussy times. He puts Seth in what we call a modified swaddle. We swaddle him in a way where the blanket does not touch his face (because that bothers him and reminds him of eating) and locks in his hands (which also disturb him when he is sleeping). It has helped so much. Who knew? My hubby is a genius!
Tonight we are going to see Christmas lights hopefully and will stop at the Winston's house for their special lighting show (they have a website at www.winstonchristmaslights.com/, but it appears to be down right now for some reason). You should go by and check it out. If you want the address, let me know.
Here is a picture of Jasmine's first painting experience at Amanda's home on Dec. 17th. We made a Christmas tree and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with her handprints and footprints. I thought Jazzy would hate having something on her hands, but she loved it. All the other kiddos at playgroup seems to have fun creating such cute artwork!. Thanks Amanda for hosting and thank you Becky for taking a picture of us to capture this moment.
