Thanksgiving

I wasn't sure how Thankgiving would turn out this year with the new baby and other random craziness, but in the end it was fabulous. I woke up Thankgiving day and debated on whether I should go back to sleep or put the turkey in the oven for lunch . . . sleep won, so turkey was delayed until dinner. Our sweet family friends, Charles and Barbara, invited us over for their family Thanksgiving. We soon realized that morning that we should take them up on their offer and I am so glad we did. I guess I was feeling isolated after the birth of Seth . . . actually for two weeks before his birth as we all had a cold and stayed away from other folks. I was so longing to see friends, so it was nice to have such delicious food and enjoy the company of their family. I thank the Lord that this opportunity opened up for that day. It was good for the soul.

Our turkey Jasmine with the turkey this year -- I am scared to see next years picture!

Our littlest turkey with the big turkey

2 turkeys

3 turkeys?? We did not attempt to take Jeremy's picture with the turkey. Be thankful folks!

To pick up the mood at the house, we decorated for Christmas on Thanksgiving Day instead of the day after.
Jeremy with his little helper putting the tree together. I am not sure which one had more fun.
We hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for the many blessings the Lord has given to us.
