On November 20th, we embarked on a long journey to visit GeeGaw (Jeremy's grandfather J.D.). We were supposed to leave at 3 a.m., but Jeremy turned off the alarm right when it went off. We ended up leaving around 5:30 a.m. which was God's blessing as it was foggy outside and we must have needed the rest.
The kids did great in the car. Jasmine entertained herself mostly while I tried to keep Seth happy. He ate tons of snacks and watched his sister's antics. :)
GeeGaw had a wagon in his shed that he used to haul stuff around the yard. I saw it and told Jeremy we had to give the kiddos a ride. They had a blast going over hills and through the fall leaves.
Seth looking at his GeeGaw. This was the first time GeeGaw got to see his little great grandson.
Jasmine, Seth, Jeremy, and sweet Aunt Edith. Aunt Edith is one of my favorite people to visit while we are in town. She is 96 years old and sharp as a whip!
On Thanksgiving Day, we had a big meal with the extended family. Jasmine had a ball playing with her cousins. Here she is with Teri Beth.
Here is Seth scooting and cousin Anetta playing peak-a-boo with him.
Jeremy and his Grandpa
Well want can I say . . . she is a silly one!
I forgot to mention that GeeGaw had a baby squirrel he was taking care of for a while. His name was PeeWee and he was a riot.
We had an awesome time hanging out with GeeGaw.
