On March 18th, Appachan came to visit for a couple of days. We had a lot of fun hanging out together.

I think Seth stayed in Appachan's arms most of the time because he would be entertained by an IPhone or be given some yummy treat!
On the 19th, we decided that we should get out and get some fresh air. We drove down to Bayou Wildlife Park. If you plan to go here, please know that they DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS. Yes, it is 2011 and they only take cash or check. Back to the story -- Me and Jeremy had been there back in 2004 and not been back post kids, so we were excited to show them all the animals.

Then they asked if Seth was ready to get on . . . WHAT?? Seth just is not old enough to ride a horse or is he? They seemed to think he was, so we thought we would give it a go. Seth had this look of disbelief that he was old enough to do something cool like sister.
First time Jasmine saw a real peacock. It was pretty neat as they were vibrating their feathers aka peacocking! :)
Feeding an ostrich. I am personally quite afraid of this animal. They peck at the food bucket so agressively!
A camel - Whoa so close!
After our jaunt at the wildlife park, we headed to Joe's Bar-B-Q. Jeremy and Appachan ordered up ribs while me and the kids had a yummy chopped beef baked potato (gigantic thing).
Jasmine wouldn't touch the rib with her hands and didn't dare actually taste it. :)
After lunch, we headed to an Indian grocery store and loaded up on way to many yummy Indian sweets, juices, frozen foods, etc. We are still snacking over here on that stuff.
Overall we had a great visit with Appachan!
