It has been a long time since I posted. I am so sorry friends. The weekend before last I came down with an infection (mastitis to be exact) while Jeremy was gone for a men's retreat. It was miserable, but fortunately I got on antibiotics pretty quick. Of course with one solution comes another problem . . . I think the antibiotic bothered Jasmine's sleep which in turn bothered mamma's sleep. Boo! I started work on March 11th which explains why I haven't posted in a while. I am working during little girl's naps during the day and when my mom gets back then I will be working for a solid chunk of time. I can't wait!
This past Tuesday was Jasmine's 3 month birthday. She is growing and growing. The other night, I was attempting for her to cry herself back to sleep. All of the sudden I heard a thump thump and I knew exactly what was going on. Little girl had rolled herself onto her side against the bumper and her feet were tapping the baby monitor. She was so mad to be on her side and her face smushed into the bumper. It was a funny sight for me to see in the wee hours. You gotta find humor when you wake up many times each night.
Yesterday we went out and bought the next stroller for Jazzy and took her for a stroll around the neighborhood. I think she enjoyed the lovely weather and fresh air. She took a snooze for most of the ride. Sometimes I wish I could fit into the stroller and have someone roll me around. :)
Today we had a family lunch for Easter. Grandma got Jasmine a cute stuffed bunny. Auntie Jenn and Uncle John brought her an Easter basket full of eggs filled with starburst jelly beans as well as a cute and very soft lamb. I have a feeling Jazzy will be spoiled rotten with lots of love.
Have a wonderful Easter! Remember in the midst of bunnies and baskets that Christ died for each one of us . . . the real meaning of the holiday.
she is SO beautiful!! the first pic is my favorite...just gorgeous!
