Mommy's work is hard

Well my mom has been out of town and I have been taking care of Jazzy by myself during the day. Boy has it been trying without an extra set of hands. At one point this week, I asked Jazzy if she was trying to kill me. I mean the girl wakes me up at night, she loves to spit up (each day she finds a new spot to drench me), she tries to see how many times mommy will change her clothes due to poop, pee, or excessive amounts of spit up, and then my favorite is when she cries and fights sleep . . . she is such a persistent fighter. Through it all one flash of her smile makes me just melt. We are so blessed to have her.

Mommy's work is hard and I mean super hard, but it is so worth it. Here is to all our moms who worked so hard to raise all of us.

  2. One of the most profound realizations I had as a new mom was an even greater respect, admiration and thankfulness for my own mother and all that she did for me in every step of my young life especially. Only now that I have my own child do I understand the effort, love and hard work that entails. It's true what they say about a Mother's love!
