Birthday, Blueberry, Bathing (aka Swimming), Babysitting, Bistro, & Brunch

So here is our weekend in pictures . . .

This picture is really telling of how things have changed. Normally when we went on a road trip I would take a picture of Jeremy from the passenger seat. As you can see Jazzy has changed that here.

First stop on Jeremy's birthday weekend . . . Chmielewski's Blueberry Farm in Hockley, TX. We go fruit picking every year around Jeremy's birthday--it is a kind of a tradition.

Action shot of the blueberry pickers. Watch out! :) This is the first time we have been to this farm and yes it is closer to home, but it is small in comparison to other places. Next time I would go back to King's Orchard or try Moorhead's Blueberry Farm (I heard it was great).

Next stop on Jeremy's birthday adventure -- Jasmine's first dip in a pool. Since Jeremy took Friday off, it was an opportune time to visit the community pool and experience this event together.

On Saturday we had a babysitting swap with the Boudreaux's. See Jasmine.

So while Jasmine was having fun with Cole, we decided to try a restaurant in Tomball called Le Gourmet Bistro. We had the grilled vegetable tower and that was delicious. We also had a sandwich and wrap which were just okay and nothing out of the ordinary. I would try it again for a nice dinner before I made my final call on the restaurant.

On Sunday, we visited my cousin Alex and his wife Olivia. Don't they look cute with Jasmine???? I think so! :)

We had a great visit and they (mostly Olivia) made a spectacular brunch. We had it all -- waffles, bacon, eggs, artichoke/onion/garlic pizza, salmon salad, green beans, fruit salad, brownies with ice cream . . . that is all I can remember because there was so much yummy food. I ate way too much.

Well that was the weekend. Today is Jasmine's six month birthday. We are going for her scheduled checkup on Friday so I will post more then!
