This past friday our small group hosted a fabulous dinner with a missionary family that is sponsored by our church. When we heard it was going to be a Chinese theme, we were a bit nervous as most of us had never attempted to cook a chinese meal (other than simple stir fry) before. We all found recipes and had so much yummy food . . . I mean every single dish tasted not only good, but super good. Okay enough about the food. We got to hear from a missionary couple, Brent & Bethany, and how they have a desire to go to the mission field in Asia. We heard stories of past short term missions trip that they had been on. It was powerful and very real to hear what they experienced. They are going on a scouting trip with their little baby girl to solidify exactly where they will be stationed in the future. It is exciting/inspiring to see their boldness in stepping out on faith and relocating to a foreign country. So now for some adorable pictures of the kiddos in their outfits that Jonathan and Jennifer brought back from China last year. I only took a few pics, so I missed a picture of the missionaries, Abigail, Joseph, Reece and of course the rest of our small group. I am hoping Amanda got some good shots and will be posting them on her blog soon. :)

Now before we went to the dinner, Jeremy chased Jasmine with a camera for quite a while. Enjoy!
Our cat Max wanted in on the action too!
I just love all of the outfits. So adorable. What a neat idea.
