Last week we went on our last walk with Amachi for a while. She is taking a trip to India to see our family. We miss her, but I know she is having a ball.
Amachi and Jazzy girl
Jasmine is climing into her Peek a blocks wagon. It is NOT made for a child to sit in, but she insists on sitting in it no matter how uncomfortable it must be.
Other updates -- I don't think I mentioned that Jeremy started his part time job at church. He is the worship associate aka helps the worship pastor. We are so thankful for this job as we now have some income and Jeremy will get some hands on experience working in the ministry. Jasmine is getting cuter and cuter by the moment. She started dropping her morning nap yesterday (at least that is what I declared after days of fussing to take the second nap). It is good because we can run errands in the morning and not worry about nap time, but it is bad because I get less time to do household chores before she goes to bed. Oh well! You win some and you lose some. Jasmine is learning more and more words. My favorite right now is BOY. She says it with a southern drawl. It is pretty funny to hear it. She is also a book hound. She wants me to read this book and that book and then this book again. It can get tiresome, but I am glad she is interested in looking at the pictures and listening to us read. Yesterday she surprised me when reading a book that she knew the sound for an owl. I always tell her when I read a particular book, but I guess she remembered and decided to let me know. This girl is just amazing and I am so thankful for her! Today, Jody and I went to Babies R Us and then decided to go to Mercer Arboretum. My friend Christa told me that they have an awesome playground, so we went to check it out. There was such cool playground equipment there . . . especially for ages 6+ (see pics at website). You will have to check it out some time.
