Living life together

In December 2005 we started a small group that consisted of five couples. Since that time we have gone from five couples to five couples, six kids, and two on the way. Along this journey, one couple moved to Dallas and another moved to Houston from Utah. Our group keeps changing, but yet we have managed to keep meeting once a week. These group of friends have encouraged me during difficult times, spurred me on to study God's word, celebrated high points, etc. What a blessing to have friends to live life together.
This week we got together and went to take pictures out in the bluebonnets. I would like to say we got some good pics of the kids together, but well you can see for yourself . . .
Chowing down before the photo shoot

Amanda trying to corral the girls

The group shot with all six kids - Jasmine was experiencing meltdown!

Reece (she had a sticker stuck to her -- ouch!) & Jasmine (she was needing a NAP) experiencing meltdown. Jade, John and Abigail look in awe!

Finally the guys decide to hold the kids! Jasmine pointing to all the flowers. She gave them kisses too!
A much needed cheerios and milk break. Look at her mow!
Now these are the pics I got. I am hoping Jonathan and Jennifer got some better pictures of the kiddos!

  1. I love the pictures!! I am still sad I forgot my camera. Jasmine was a trooper for putting up with all of us during her naptime.

  2. That post made me laugh! I'm SO glad we got to get together like that. The pictures just prove how unpredictable our kids are and how silly they are. I love having this special group of friends. What an amazing blessing to have you and your family as part of our lives!!
