Stop and smell the flowers

Last week I made the long trek to Babies R Us to buy a new smaller diaper bag (yeah!). After driving that far, I always feel like I should drive a bit more and enjoy the gardens at Mercer Arboretum. Jasmine loved all the flowers, but she especially liked pointing to all the fish in the various ponds. She can now say fish which is a bonus! I have also started light potty training with Jasmine. She tells me poop and sometimes it is before she has done the deed. I took this as a sign to start showing her the potty. She likes to sit on the little potty seat on the floor, but not as keen to sit on the potty seat very long when it is on the big potty. We will see what happens. I am in no hurry, but I thought it might be good to give the girl some options. :) Cookie update - I started barfing on April 11th and have barfed once a day ever since. Today I was so lucky to barf in the morning and once upon arrive home after church. Yuck! At least I know the cookie is doing well. Funny story-- Yesterday, I was barfing in the living room (don't worry a trash can was involved) when I hear my daughter who is eating breakfast in the kitchen start to mimic my barfing noises . . . Jeremy just busts out laughing. I can't believe my daughter. On a side note, I must tell how much my husband has helped me during this trying time called the first trimester. He gets Jasmine up and feeds her breakfast while I do my thing. He then makes me yummy breakfast. I am so blessed!
