2009 seemed to go by so fast. Throughout the year we marveled at our baby growing up to be a little girl that chatters a lot and is down right beautiful. She melts our hearts daily. We were also blessed with a handsome baby boy that I must admit I love to stare at and talk to. He is such a good baby! What will the new year have in store for us? I have no idea really. I do know there will be many good times, inevitably some sad times and lots of change (which I am not a big fan of). Only time will tell where the Lord will take us. I am reminded of one of my favorite Bible passages found in Matthew 6:25-34. Basically it talks about how we should not worry about tomorrow. The bird does not worry about where his next meal will come from. The Lord takes care of them. Flowers are clothed so beautifully with vibrant colored petals. The Lord made each one. If the Lord gives such care to birds and flowers, how much more care does He provide to us? I am so blessed to be in His care and look forward to where He will steer us in 2010.

First smiles - He smiled for the first time on Dec 27th.
His first nap in his room on January 1st.
We have since realized that the crib shares a wall to our bathroom, so his little head is literally a few feet from our toilet. He wakes up when we flush. I guess we will be moving that crib to another wall.
