Crazy stories

Jasmine and Seth on 3/18/2010. Notice that she is pulling on the blanket . . . yeah that is her favorite blanket and it ain't for Seth to sit on!

I am guessing these two events happened on February 21st.
~ I was blitzed one morning as I was up a lot with Seth and Jeremy was watching both kiddos as I slept a little extra. I was sleeping peacefully and I hear this horrible Seth cry. I get up only to discover that he got cold cold water poured onto his face. Yes, Jeremy was having breakfast with Jasmine and Seth was in his rocker on the floor when Jeremy knocked over his glass of cold cold water on to the table. . . of course the contents of the glass landed on Seth's face. Poor Seth! He is like his mommy . . . we don't like cold showers!
~ We got home from church, ate lunch and put Jazzy in bed for a nap. Seth was still asleep in his carseat, so Jeremy moved him into our bedroom. In the laziness of the Sunday afternoon, we decide to take a nap while the kiddos are sleeping. I ask Jeremy if the monitor is on for Jazzy and he tells me that we didn't need it on since the monitor is on in the living room. I am dead tired, so I don't argue. I hear Jazzy talking to herself as usual on the living room monitor and we doze off to sleep. Jeremy later gets up and goes to check his e-mail or something and then we hear this loud horrible cry. Jeremy runs into Jazzy's room and she is strapped into her pink car with her shirt over her head (not on her face). Also there is a distinct fragrance in the air and so Jeremy unstraps her and changes her diaper. She is crying the entire time and won't calm down. I come in and pet her back to sleep. It was sweet to be able to do that. So what happened you think? She had recently learned to buckle her stap on her booster seat, so she must of thought how cool it would be to do the same in her pink car . . . problem #1 she doesn't know how to unstrap herself . . . I am not sure about the shirt over her head, but I am guessing that was part of her problem solving process . . . She must have given up and fell asleep in this position and then mother nature called and she freaked out as she was stuck in her pink car. I wish I saw what she looked like when Jeremy came through the door or had a video of the entire fiasco. See this old post for a pic of the infamous pink car. Moral of story - keep pink car staps snapped together when not in use. :)
