Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!
Well folks we went through one round of sleep training early in March and had progress, but then I got mastitis and the whole thing when to the trash. We tried again mid-March and was doing well and then he had his shots / started teething. AHHH!! So we didn't know what to do as we gave the boy Tylenol, etc, but he was still having fitfull sleep. I felt sorry for Jasmine as it was waking her up at night too, so on March 24th we decide to put her in a pack n play in our room. She slept well up until 11 p.m. and then she stood up and started singing . . . ahhhhh!! Then Jeremy told her to go back to sleep, so she did and then later stoop up and started singing. I was so blitzed that I got her up and put her in our bed. This was the first time Jasmine has ever slept in our bed. She kept looking over at me and asking me what daddy was doing. I proceeded to tell her that daddy was sleeping and that she should sleep too. After much tossing and turning, she finally fell asleep. It was the worst sleep I had ever had. :) The next night we decided that she would go back to her own room to sleep even with Seth waking her up at night. She was glad to be back in her own bed! We shut off the monitor and on March 25th, I had my best sleep. Seth cried around 4:30 a.m. after going to bed at 7 p.m., so I fed him then. Whoo hoo!

Seth jumped for the first time in his Jumperoo on 03/21/2010
He loves that thing! Thank you Welch's for letting us borrow it. Speaking of Seth's powerful legs . . . the boy likes to throw his legs up and down on the changing table and in his crib. When I say throw . . . I mean slam them down. The boy has got some muscles. He is so much more active of a baby than Jasmine. I wonder if it is because he is a boy or it is just his personality.
Jeremy trying to feed Seth his first bottle on 3/24/2010
I would like to say that this went well . . . but it didn't. He kept looking at Jeremy and me and then back at Jeremy and so on. It was funny! He drank about 1/2 ounce while he was still sleepy and then he realized what was going on and didn't want a part of it! We decided that we should tackle the sleep thing at that time and have postponed the bottle thing until a little later . . . maybe Grandma would be more successful. :P
